John Lindsay served as President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Helmerich & Payne, Inc.(H&P) from 2014 to 2026. He began his career with H&P in 1987 as a drilling engineer and held a variety of positions across operations, management, and leadership. H&P is a proud member of the Permian Strategic Partnership (PSP), where John serves on the executive committee and the board of directors. PSP collaborates with local partners on key initiatives to help improve the quality of life in the Permian region. Outside of H&P, John serves on the boards of Arcosa Inc., the University of Tulsa School of Petroleum Engineering, the Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma, the Tulsa Regional Chamber, and the Nature Conservancy Oklahoma Chapter.
